LegalDraft Terms of Use

1. Service Description

LegalDraft is an AI contract risk scanning tool: import a contract PDF or photograph printed pages, on-device OCR extracts the text, and AI flags the clauses most worth your attention — with plain-English explanations, citations against public standard clauses, informational alternative wording, and a risk score card.

2. Not Legal Advice (Important)

All analysis, explanations, citations, scores and wording suggestions provided by LegalDraft are informational only and do not constitute legal advice. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal services; no attorney-client relationship is created by using this app. Every analysis screen in the app carries a corresponding disclaimer. Any decision to sign, amend or terminate a contract is yours alone; for legal advice, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

3. AI-Generated Content

AI-generated explanations, summaries and alternative wording may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific situation, and are provided for reference only. Alternative wording is explicitly labeled informational and is not guidance on how a contract should be amended. You bear full responsibility for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content.

4. User Conduct

Only upload or photograph contract documents you are authorized to handle, and you are responsible for their lawful origin. You may not use the app for unlawful activities, to infringe others’ rights, or to reverse-engineer or abuse the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in violations.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

• Tiers: Basic ($9.99/month or $79.99/year) and Pro ($19.99/month). Prices shown in USD and may vary by region;
• The free tier includes 1 contract analysis per month; Basic allows up to 10 per month; Pro is unlimited;
• Subscriptions auto-renew and are processed by the Apple App Store. Cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period;
• Refunds follow Apple’s refund rules (reportaproblem.apple.com); we never charge separately.

6. Intellectual Property

Your contract documents and their contents belong to you (or their rights holders); PDF reports you export are for your own use. LegalDraft’s interface, branding, icons and underlying technology belong to LegalDraft. Public standard clauses referenced by the app belong to their respective sources (e.g. LegalZoom / ACC / ELI) and are cited with links to the original sources.

7. Accounts and Deletion

Registration is optional. You are responsible for safeguarding access to your sign-in email. You may delete your account anytime in-app via Account → Delete account; deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone (see Section 5 of the Privacy Policy).

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

LegalDraft is provided “as is”, without warranties of uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free operation, and without warranties as to the accuracy or completeness of OCR output or AI analysis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service — including contract decisions made in reliance on the analysis.

9. Changes to and Termination of the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the service at any time; material changes will be announced in-app in advance.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China.
